#8 Goes to the ER

First football game of the season! The day started with a little oatmeal and then it was off to practice.

Home from practice and right into an ice bath...
7pm Game time! Highland takes the field and the game is going great...

Jax is playing great, the team is playing great,

and the girls are doing great--(no melt downs or tantrums:)

until the 2nd quarter when a guy from the other team stuck his finger in Jackson's eye.

We spent the next several hours here, while Highland continued to dominate.

His eyeball was cut and because of the bleeding he wasn't able to see out of his right eye.

Thankfully he didn't need surgery and we're so grateful his eye should heal completely.

5 days of bed rest and no football for 2 weeks

bed rest=sitting on the couch doing nothing--no ipod, no computer, no video games, but he can eat and watch TV in the dark if he sits really far away from it. This will be good for Jax, he's a hard working boy and could use a rest :)
