Project Thanksgiving--Day 27

I am thankful for...

TEMPLES
I've mentioned before, Emmy's goal to visit all of the temples in Utah before she turns 16.
This weekend we visited the Ogden and Logan temple.

This has become such a fun thing for our family.
This trip was extra special because last week Dakota turned 12 so he was able to do baptisms too. He wasn't sure what to expect but he did say the locker rooms were just as he pictured they'd be :)
We went to the Ogden temple on Friday and then drove to Logan and stayed over night at a hotel. It's funny to me how excited the little ones get over swimming in the hotel pool!

This morning we headed to the Logan temple.
Kloe kept commenting on how beautiful it was--it's definitely one of my favorites.
Kevin and I used to go to the Logan temple every week when we lived there...during those few months when we had no kids and a little more time.

I love that our kids are gaining a testimony of temple work at such a young age.
We can teach them about the temple, but actually taking them there and having them participate in those ordinances is what really helps them understand the significance and blessings of temple work.
At each temple we've been to Kevin always gets to be the one to baptize them--he loves that.

The little girls and I did a little shopping to pass the time while the others were in the temple. Kloe and I talked about how great it will be when she is old enough to go to the temple. She wants to have the same goal as Emmy when she turns 12 and was pretty excited when I told her we could definitely visit all of the Utah temples again!

You guys are incredible. But, you should've called while you were up this way so we could get together! It sounds like Emmy and Riley would get along swimmingly, such good girls!
