Janie Turns 6!

This one has been just a little excited to turn 6!

She even got up extra early so she could spend THE ENTIRE DAY celebrating.

A few weeks ago Lilly saw a Spidy washrag at the $ store and wanted to get it for Janie's birthday.  She kept it a secret and was so excited to give it to Janie.  (And Janie was so excited to get it, she wiped down the entire counter after breakfast :)

How many little girls do you know with lavender walls and Spidy bedding???

Janie gets called JAMIE ALL THE TIME (just like Emmy gets called EMMA, EMILY, and AMY ALL THE TIME).  I didn't notice they'd messed up her name until I got the cake home.

So I did my best to fix it.

The birthday girls took a vote.

Did they each want me to make them their own birthday dinner?  Or, did they want to have one big birthday dinner at a restaurant?

In the end the Olive Garden won.

You may remember that Kloe is obsessed with Mac n' Cheese.

She got a mega-bowl of it.

Janie hated it.

But she loves the cheap stuff in the box with the powdered cheese.

Lilly, unlike her father, LOVES spaghetti.

Have I mentioned that 5 children seems like so much less than 7?

It's so weird.  It ALWAYS feels like some are missing, probably because there are.

Janie took her birthday money from Mama Jan and Papa Tom and picked herself up this Spidy jacket she's been eyeing at the Costco (one can not have too many Spidy jackets).

You can't tell but Spidy's eyes light up!
