The Day of Love

Made it home safe and sound at around midnight. Got to bed at 1am and woke up at 6:15am--there's no sleeping in with a house of 9 to run :)

We headed out this morning to do some Valentine shopping...

And then we made some deliveries to Aubrey and Emmy at the school...

(Emmy said not to tell anyone the secret admirer was her dad, so don't tell anyone :)

And then it was back to the house to get ready for the dinner of love...

The kids Boston souvenirs doubled as valentine gifts from the parents--that worked out well, didn't it!

Janie says thanks to Grandpa Tom and Grandma Jan for her "Hundred Dollar Valentine!!" And mom says thanks to Papa Murphy's for dinner!

We finished the meal with Grandma Linda's amazing sugar cookies for dessert :)

Here are those cute salt and pepper shakers I picked up in Boston--aren't they the best!
